Hey, Hi, and Hello

What's up, buttercups? Welcome to Level 4 Reading class for the spring semester of the HUFS-SUNY 1 +3 Program. This blog is pretty empty now, but throughout the semester, it will fill up with all sorts of pictures, news articles, posts (by myself and yourselves), and any other random goodies I feel you guys might enjoy.

Additionally, this will be a location to turn to for many homework assignments. After reading (or while reading) Catcher in the Rye, you can turn here for a question or quote related to the text which you are expected to respond to (for homework as well to help prepare you for in class discussions). Don't worry, usually it will not be anything long. More often than not, just a simple comment of a couple sentences explaining your opinion is often good enough. I will try to underline and bold the homework assignments in the posts, that way they stand out and are easy for you to find.

For your first homework assignment: I simply want you to create a google account (if you don't have one already), and then create a blogger account (which often is just entered through using your google account information). Once you have that, I would like you to respond to this post so that I know you are all set up for the semester. For your comment I would like you to simply answer this question:

If your life was to be turned into a book, what would be the title?

Other than that, let's have a good semester. Keep smiling, keep positive, and most importantly, dare to be curious. Take it easy, ladies and gentlemen!

Either way, these are looking great, ladies and gentlemen. You guys are coming up with some real creative and deep story titles for your lives. I'm looking forward to seeing how you guys approach and think about the topics in Catcher in the Rye when we start reading that :-). Next post for the blog is ready to be published and will be put up tomorrow morning before or after class. I'll let you guys know more about it in class tomorrow. Have a good night, everyone! :-)

    1. Scratch that last number comment, actually I only count 20 out of 29. So please make sure your posts publish properly, lol. If you have a friend in class who hasn't posted yet, make sure to give them a friendly reminder to leave their book title here! :-)
