What's up, buttercups? Welcome to Level 4 Reading class for the spring semester of the HUFS-SUNY 1 +3 Program. This blog is pretty empty now, but throughout the semester, it will fill up with all sorts of pictures, news articles, posts (by myself and yourselves), and any other random goodies I feel you guys might enjoy.
Additionally, this will be a location to turn to for many homework assignments. After reading (or while reading) Catcher in the Rye, you can turn here for a question or quote related to the text which you are expected to respond to (for homework as well to help prepare you for in class discussions). Don't worry, usually it will not be anything long. More often than not, just a simple comment of a couple sentences explaining your opinion is often good enough. I will try to underline and bold the homework assignments in the posts, that way they stand out and are easy for you to find.
For your first homework assignment: I simply want you to create a google account (if you don't have one already), and then create a blogger account (which often is just entered through using your google account information). Once you have that, I would like you to respond to this post so that I know you are all set up for the semester. For your comment I would like you to simply answer this question:
If your life was to be turned into a book, what would be the title?
Other than that, let's have a good semester. Keep smiling, keep positive, and most importantly, dare to be curious. Take it easy, ladies and gentlemen!
